We have friends that live in nearby Kittery ME. Every year we receive and invite. Make sure you get there early..(last year we were late) because the park fills up quick and the chowder is gobbled down.
If you want to go this year time is running out... click here for details
Saturday June 7, 2008 - 11:30AM until it's all gone.
Rain date if needed, Sunday June 8, 2008.
Each year, more than 4,000 people help Prescott Park Arts Festival kick off its summer season with New England's largest and oldest chowder tasting competition.
More than 500 gallons of piping hot chowder will be served up for tasting.
Pumpkin Festival In Keene NH
I have to be a bit biased here because I attended Keene State College...this is the "real deal" of pumpkin festivals. I know that they are popping up all across the area but Keene will always be the original. Since graduating from college, my wife & I have only been to 2 festivals, which is a shame. Many friends from college converge every year on our old stomping grounds to share stories & reflect on the good old days. If you have never been to a pumpkin festival in Keene please mark it down on your calendar. Click here so you don't forget
